CONGRATULATIONS TO THE
SHAWN GREENWOOD WORKING GROUP!
ITHACA -- The Rere Sojourner Hassett Social Justice Awards were presented to members of the Shawn Greenwood Working Group Thursday night at the combined annual meeting of the Greater Ithaca Activities Center and the Multicultural Resource Center. The members who were honored were Nydia Blas, Philip Price, James Ricks, Clare Grady, and Paula Ioanide. The group formed to raise awareness in the community about the complex factors that led to Shawn Greenwood's untimely death when he was shot by a local police officer in 2010.
